Suzanna F. Vaino, DVM, is a 2003 graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and a 1998 graduate of the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. A native of south Jersey, she has been helping people and pets in Atlantic County since 1993. Dr. Vaino founded Doorway to Heaven in 2012, in response to a growing need for compassionate, patient, and kind end-of-life veterinary services. A New Jersey licensed veterinarian, Dr. Vaino is also a staff surgeon at the Atlantic County Animal Shelter and an associate veterinarian for VIPPetCare wellness clinics. She lives in Egg Harbor Township with her husband, three children, Chocolate the cat, Scarlett the Chihuahua, and about 35 chickens!
